Modular Flat Pack Construction

Specification:

Foundations

Isolated footings 400x400x400 Concrete reinforced blocks with blinding. Concrete Grade –M30, Yield Strength 460N/m2 (Optional and to be designed if units are stacked G+1 or G+2, please refer to your contract drawings)

Floor Frame / Roof Frame / Columns

Floor frame consisting of 120x80x3mm Box Hollow section. Joist spacing: 600mm C/C. Roof frame consisting of 120x60x3mm Box Hollow section. Joist spacing: 600mm C/C. Columns are custom made sections from 2.7mm thick plate

Galvanised steel Floor Joist Grade 275, Yield Strength 550 MPA. C100x1.15mm thk @ 600mm Centers bolted to welded cleats via 4 x bolts.

Floor: 16mm Plywood, fixed to the joists and base frame.

Floor covering in dry areas: 1.60mm thick PVC covering fixed to floor. Brand: Durafloor or eq.

Steel is blasted (SA 2.5), Brushed cleaned and coated with 1 x coat of red oxide primer and painted with 1 x coat alkyd based enamel paint.

Structural Steel Coating & Painting System

Steel is blasted (SA 2.5), Brushed cleaned and coated with 1 x coat of red oxide primer and painted with 1 x coat alkyd based enamel paint.

Walls

50mm Insulated fire rated polysterene Sandwich panel with 0.5mm GI Sheet internal smooth finish with external low rib finish, Colour – RAL 9002 Both sides.

Doors

Internal/External: Aluminium doors

windows

Powder coated aluminium sliding window, weather stripping, 6mm thick clear glass overall size 1000mm x 800mm (insect screen optional)

Electrical

Electrical Panel board is provided with ELCB incomer and MCB outgoing. Brand: MEM / ABB or eq. (For connection from an existing source by others)

PVC Trunks are surface mounted.

Light fixtures: 1 x 36W fluorescent light fitting, batten type, Frater or equ, for accommodation areas.

1 x 20W fluorescent batten type fittings in toilet and corridor.

60W bulkhead light for all external doors.

Switch / sockets, Edison or eq, Wires from Tecab or eq.

Installation Steps

Space Fab disassembled container, before deliver to the customers, all the main components, window and door, bolts etc have been packed into the small container. Before assembly, open the container, according to the introduction steps to work. Easy and quick assembly, only need 2-3 people, with 3 hours to finish

Assembling

Space Fab disassembled container, the same specification containers can be assembled together, which can quickly achieve completion of the site buildings. Apply field can be develop to the site office, dormitory, school, city store, entertainment room, theatre, etc
